The Admirals have a pair of rookies as national starters, but I expect Japanese receiver Noriaki Kinonutsa and Swedish linebacker Carl-Johan Bjork to both make a big impact.
Bjork is a kid that was identified as a very talented player at his position playing in Stockholm for the national champion Mean Machine team. We felt he would benefit from getting experience as a rookie playing behind the vastly experienced Japanese linebacker Rikiya Ishida, who has been in NFL Europe for three years. When Ricky went down with an injury early in camp, Carl suddenly found himself as the starter, and it is time for him to step up and prove he is ready for this when he goes up against the Rhein offense on Saturday night.
