I am going to try something this November. From Week 42-49, on Thursday (torsdag) nights from 18.00-22.00 I have reserved our field for 7-on-7 practice. This will be open for all teams that are interested. It will be open for U-19, A-laget, Landslaget or combinations of the before mentioned groups to come and practice pass skelly. This is not a tournament, but we will have a set of rules we go by. I would like to do the same they do in the states and make it no pads. It will be a great opporunity for teams that are interested in working on their passing offense and defense and developing the Swedish QB's. We have a fully marked Konst-grass field with lighting and locker rooms (soon to be finished). Teams will have the opporunity to play versus vem somhelst and have a great time. You will also have the ability to film your practices and we have some meeting room space available (possibly) to evaluate film and have short "chalk-talks."
Before I can fully organize it. I need to know how many teams are interested in committing each week or booking a practice or two. The cost is zero crowns per our and is a great opporutnity to use a great facility to get better at these parts of football. Would be more fun to run sprints or more fun to run routes in the off-season.
I would say that individual players who do not have a team that will come and practice are welcome to come and train. You will be put on a team that is playing and have to learn their system, but you would still get the opportunity to get better.
If you are interested, please email me at bdkfbcoach@yahoo.com
I think this is a good way to develop. And yes weather could be a problem, but darkness never will be our motto will be there is no bad weather only bad clothes...that sounds better in swedish..ingen dåligt vader, bara dåligt klader!!
Mvh,
BDK
